Each year, the Chris Moon Foundation hosts its Annual Scholarship Banquet, an evening dedicated to celebrating, honoring, and uplifting the next generation of leaders in Southern Arizona.

 

This special event brings together friends, family, supporters, and community members to recognize five outstanding high school student-athletes who embody the values Chris lived by: hard work, dedication, leadership, and character.

At our 2026 Scholarship Banquet, taking place on May 24th, we are proud to award five $1,000 scholarships to deserving members of the graduating class. These recipients are not only accomplished in academics and athletics, but also demonstrate the integrity, kindness, and perseverance that defined Chris’ legacy.

The evening is designed to be both meaningful and memorable. Guests will enjoy dinner and drinks, participate in a live silent auction, hear personal speeches, including the stories of our scholarship recipients, and enjoy music and dancing. 

 

The banquet is not only a time to reflect and honor, but also to come together in joy and shared purpose. Most importantly, the event provides an opportunity to give back. Through donations and sponsorships, attendees help further the mission of the Chris Moon Foundation, ensuring that we can continue supporting local students and investing in their futures. Every contribution helps extend Chris’ legacy of generosity and encouragement within the Tucson community.
