Biannual Chris Moon Golf Tournament

The primary source of revenue for the Chris Moon Foundation is our Biannual Golf Tournament, an event that brings together friends, families, local businesses, and community members in support of our mission.

We chose golf as the foundation’s biannual event because of its strong presence in Arizona and its natural connection to community and athletics, two things Chris deeply valued.

The tournament is more than just a day on the course, it’s a celebration of the shared commitment to carrying Chris’ legacy forward. Over the past seven years, the tournament has continued to grow, with this past year, 2025, marking our largest event yet. Nearly 200 golfers participated, spread across two golf courses, raising almost 10,000 dollars for the Foundation, our most impactful and attended tournament to date.

The energy, support, and unity shown each tournament are a true reflection of the community Chris loved so much.

There are many ways to get involved and contribute to the success of the tournament. Supporters can make a donation, sponsor a hole, contribute items for the biannual auction, volunteer on the day of the event, help spread the word, or participate as a golfer yourself! Every level of involvement plays a vital role in funding scholarships, supporting military and Gold Star families, and investing in youth sports throughout Southern Arizona.
